📣 New publication: The TNFD status report 2026 from the TNFD
Who's it for? Businesses integrating nature into decision-making, and the advisers and practitioners supporting them.
Summary: Key messages include:
• More than 1,000 organisations across 56 countries/areas have published first-, second- or third-generation TNFD-aligned reports.
• Over 70% of survey respondents support greater certainty through mandatory nature-related reporting requirements, with a preference for standards to be introduced in the next 1-3 years.
• 56% of survey respondents have conducted or are currently undertaking a LEAP (Locate, Evaluate, Assess and Prepare) assessment.

📣 New Position Paper: Accelerating Action for Nature - a position statement for COP17 Yerevan, from the UK Business and Biodiversity Forum
Who's it for? Businesses and government stakeholders interested in working together to create the conditions needed to accelerate corporate action for nature.
Summary: The paper explains how businesses can help deliver the Global Biodiversity Framework targets where enabling conditions are in place. It also identifies the barriers holding businesses back and the actions CBD Parties could take to address them.

📣 Economic opportunities from investing in climate resilience in the UK from Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change & the Environment and Earth Capital Nexus@LSE
Who's it for? Policymakers, government teams and organisations working on climate resilience.
Summary: The policy briefing finds that climate change is already causing significant economic impacts in the UK and that these are expected to increase. Under a high-warming scenario, annual economic damage could reach 4% of UK gross domestic product by 2050, compared with a baseline of pre-industrial climate conditions.
