Client need

Global Canopy required technical support to develop an initial concept paper defining the potential scope of work for the Taskforce on Nature related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). This included working with the Global Canopy team to determine the scope along with identifying potential barriers to implementation.

Ensuring the output aligned with learning from the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

Collaborative project delivered in a short timeframe.

Proposed high-level tasks for the TNFD as a formal scoping note including:
o Proposed work packages and outputs,
o Suggested research following the approach used for the TCFD,
o Stakeholder mapping, and
o Outlining skills needed for each phase of the project, i.e., research & development, testing, consultation and dissemination and marketing.
