Summary

Little Blue Research supported the development of the Natural Capital Protocol finance sector supplement in collaboration with other technical experts. The supplement was developed to help financial institutions consider the management of their natural capital impacts and dependencies for decision making.

Client need

The Natural Capital Coalition required technical support to develop a finance sector supplement for the Natural Capital Protocol. The aim of this work was to harmonise existing natural capital work for the finance sector, including reports from the Dutch Association of Investors for Sustainable Development (VBDO), the Natural Capital Finance Alliance (NCFA) and work undertaken by NCFA member-led working groups to better connect finance and natural capital.
